Thanksgivukkah T Shirts and Gifts By JewTee Part 1

Light the Lights of Freedom.

Shalom everyone.

Sorry I’ve been out of touch for a while. I was busy during the Jewish Holidays and am only free now.

The latest buzz is all about the fact that this year Thanksgiving and Chanukkah fall on the same day, November 28, 2013.  Well, that’s not exactly true. Chanukah begins the night before Thanksgiving, so the first candle is lit then. But it’s true that the first day of Hanukkah falls on Thanksgiving Day. This is an extremely rare occurrence. It happened in 1888. After this year, the next time the two holidays coincide is 2070, then 2165, then 76,695. Wow.

Many are calling the combination of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah, Thanksgivukkah. I personally don’t like the sound of it and  prefer the term Thanksanukkah. It much easier to say and puts the emphasis on Thanks, which is where I think it should be.

Of course, JewTee already has some Thanksgivukah Thanksanukkah shirts and gifts and is busy preparing more. Since all the hype is about this combined day of observances, here are our first two T shirt and gift designs. Our third one is pictured above.

Happy Thanksgivukah 2013
